Ricky Martin is looking as sexy as ever on The Advocate's April 2012 cover. The at-last-out-and-proud Latino singer, actor and author moved to New York City last winter with
his partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella and their twin sons, Matteo and
Valentino, as Martin preps a role in the Broadway revival of Andrew
Lloyd Webber’s Evita, which opens in April.
Its his first turn on Broadway in nearly 16 years, when Ricky starred as the love-struck Marius in Les Misérables. In Evita, he will play the headlining role of Che, the rebellious voice of the people and antagonist to Argentinean first lady Eva Perón. The new version is being called a "sexier restaging." And with the 40-year-old Martin onstage, how could it not be? *
